Travelers journal

The road to Man’s Farm unfolded before us like a quiet promise, winding past lush green fields and sleepy villages. The hum of the city faded behind us, replaced by the rustling of leaves and the distant call of birds. As we approached, the outline of Man Mountain rose against the sky, its slopes cradling the farm in a gentle embrace.

The first thing that struck me was the stillness. The air felt fresher here, tinged with the scent of earth and grass. We wandered past rows of fruit trees, their branches heavy with ripening fruit, and listened as our guide shared stories about the farm's beginnings. In the afternoon light, the trees cast long shadows across the ground, dappling our path with patches of gold.

After settling into our bungalow, we strolled to the fishing pond, where the water shimmered under the sun. I tried my hand at fishing, the bamboo pole resting easily in my grip, though the fish proved more elusive than expected. Nearby, children laughed as they chased each other through the tall grass, their voices carried on the breeze.

As evening fell, the scent of the BBQ drifted through the air, drawing us back to the heart of the farm. Plates piled high with grilled meats, fresh seafood, and garden-picked vegetables made for a feast under the open sky. The quiet hum of conversation mixed with the distant sound of crickets as the last light faded behind the mountains.

We gathered around the campfire, its flickering flames casting warm shadows on our faces. Someone played soft music from a speaker, the notes drifting lazily into the night. Stars blinked to life overhead, and we sat quietly, soaking in the stillness. The world felt vast and peaceful, the kind of silence that settles deep into your bones.

Morning came softly, sunlight slipping through the curtains and birds calling out the dawn. I stepped onto the bungalow's porch and into the cool morning air, the farm slowly waking around me. A hot cup of coffee warmed my hands as I watched the mist rise from the fields, curling around the trees before vanishing into the sky.

As we packed up, I took one last walk through the farm. The breeze rustled the leaves, and the mountains stood quietly, watching over the land. Leaving Man’s Farm felt like waking from a dream, the kind you carry with you long after you've opened your eyes.
