The three-day Red Dragon itinerary takes the same boutique junk deeper into Bai Tu Long Bay, with no switching boats throughout. Beyond the Thien Canh Son Cave and the Da Xep and Cong Do areas, you'll take a bamboo boat through the secluded Vung Vieng fishing village, kayak around Hon Co Island, and enjoy a freshly prepared BBQ lunch on a wild, secluded beach. With the mineral seawater pool, sauna and spa, and a Yen Duc village water puppet show on the way home, it's the most immersive way to experience the bay's quietest corners.

The Itinerary

How your 3 days / 2 nights unfolds.

Day 1

Hanoi → Bai Tu Long Bay

Morning pick-up from Hanoi by luxury van, board the Red Dragon around midday with a welcome drink and lunch as the junk sails into Bai Tu Long Bay. Afternoon at the Thien Canh Son Cave and kayaking, then sunset, a Banh Xeo cooking demonstration and dinner.

Day 2

Bai Tu Long Bay → Cong Dam → beach BBQ

After a sunrise Tai Chi session and breakfast, visit the Thien Canh Son Cave and Hon Co Island, then cruise to the Cong Dam area for a beach stroll and a BBQ lunch prepared on a secluded beach. Afternoon relaxation, a cooking demonstration, sunset and dinner.

Day 3

Bai Tu Long Bay → Yen Duc Village → Hanoi

A final sunrise and breakfast, then a bamboo boat through the Vung Vieng fishing village. Return to port and, on the drive back, stop at Yen Duc Village for a water puppet show before continuing to Hanoi.
