What to expect.

A full-day trek through the Muong Hoa Valley, one of the most scenic regions in northern Vietnam. Descend quiet mountain trails into the valley, passing through Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai and Tả Van, meeting Black H’Mong and Giáy communities and learning how generations have farmed these layered terraces.

Meet & Descend

Your guide meets you after breakfast to begin the descent into the valley along quiet trails.

Morning

Y Linh Ho Village

Walk through the Black H’Mong village, learning about indigo dyeing and terrace farming.

Midday

Lao Chai & Lunch

Stop in Lao Chai for a local lunch in a simple restaurant among the rice fields.

Afternoon

Tả Van Village

Trek on to the riverside Giáy village of Tả Van and its herbal traditions.

~2:00 PM

Return to Hotel

Your driver takes you back to your Sapa hotel for the evening.
