The Swan is a boutique wooden cruise built for a cosy, quiet experience, a small vessel of sea-view cabins finished in bamboo and local wood, gliding through the untouched, less-crowded Bai Tu Long Bay. Its route reaches the pristine Cap La and Cong Do areas and the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave, with kayaking, swimming, a sunset party, a Vietnamese cooking demonstration and fruit-carving, and morning Tai Chi. With just a handful of cabins, it offers genuine privacy and an authentic, immersive feel far from the busier routes.

The Itinerary

How your 2 days / 1 night unfolds.

Day 1

Hanoi → Bai Tu Long Bay

Pick-up from your Hanoi hotel around 08:00–08:30 and transfer to the Ha Long International Cruise Port, arriving around 12:30. Transfer by tender to the Swan, with a welcome drink and safety briefing before checking in. A Vietnamese set lunch is served as the boat cruises into Bai Tu Long Bay. Around 15:00 reach Cap La Island for kayaking, swimming and relaxing among the karsts. Return for a sunset party and a cooking demonstration, learn to make Nem Cuon or try fruit-carving, then a set dinner and a quiet evening of squid fishing or games.

Day 2

Bai Tu Long Bay → Hanoi

Begin with a sunrise Tai Chi session or a quiet morning on deck with tea, then breakfast. Visit the hidden Thien Canh Son Cave, learning about the bay's history. Return to the boat for a late-morning cooking demonstration, check out, and a traditional Vietnamese lunch before disembarking around 11:15 for the transfer back to Hanoi.
