The Itinerary

How your 2 days / 1 night unfolds.

Day 1

Hanoi → Tuan Chau → Lan Ha Bay → Bright Cave

08:00–08:30Pick-up from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter (or Opera House final point) and transfer to Tuan Chau.

11:45Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbour; transfer to the Velar of the Sea by tender.

12:30The cruise manager and crew welcome you aboard with a briefing and safety information.

13:15A fabulous lunch is served as the cruise sails through the quieter, less-visited Lan Ha Bay.

15:15Visit the Bright Cave by bamboo boat rowed by local fishermen, a serene round lake beneath lush cliffs.

17:30–18:30Sunset party at the Velar Sky Bar with fruit, snacks and happy hour.

18:00Vietnamese cooking demonstration.

19:00Signature dinner in the restaurant.

20:30Evening at leisure, cocktails, spa, a movie, squid fishing, or the rooftop deck. Overnight on board.

Day 2

Tai Chi → Tra Bau (Kong: Skull Island) → Hanoi

06:00Greet first light with Tai Chi on the sundeck, or an early tea or coffee.

06:30Light breakfast of pastries, tea and coffee in the restaurant.

07:15–08:15Tender to the Tra Bau area, the Kong: Skull Island filming location, and the floating fish farm; kayak or simply take in the scene.

08:30Return to the cruise and check out as a brunch is served.

10:00Brunch on board while the Velar cruises slowly back toward the harbour.

11:30–12:00Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbour and transfer back to Hanoi, arriving around 15:00. End of trip.
